When you're out on the water, precision and accuracy are essential for a safe and enjoyable experience. Your HC (Hand Controller) plays a crucial role in controlling your water sports equipment, and it's vital that it provides accurate feedback. If you notice that your HC is displaying anything other than 0% when the throttle is not pressed, it's time to re-calibrate the magnet sensor. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you with the process:
Re-Calibrating the Magnet Sensor
1. Push down the throttle fully. Ensure that the throttle is in its lowest position, fully depressed.
2. Place a PKL (Power Key Leash) on the side of the HC. Position it securely along the side of the HC.
3. Release the throttle slowly while keeping your eye on the PKL. As you release the throttle, slowly and deliberately swipe the PKL up, moving it along the side of the HC.
This step is crucial in re-calibrating the magnet sensor to ensure that it accurately reflects the throttle's position.
4. Check the magnet sensor's response. After following the above steps, the magnet sensor should re-calibrate itself. You can verify this by looking at the HC's display. It should now show 0% when the throttle is not pressed.
It's important to perform this calibration process carefully and deliberately to achieve accurate results.
We hope this guide has been helpful in re-calibrating the magnet sensor on your Regular HC.
