What are shims & why do I use them?

A shim is a plate you install between the wings and the fuselage when screwing your wing on your eFoil. The shims allow wing angle tuning to optimise the boards behaviour depending on the rider’s skills and abilities while foiling.

Can I tune my efoil?

Advanced riders willing to ride at high speeds or go down waves could decrease their rear wing shims by [0] or [-1] to gain control and stability. However, the settings of an efoil are precise and sensitive, be aware that radical changes could cause the efoil to misbehave and increase the overall battery consumption.
