What to do with my battery when I need to dispose of it?

Symptoms: 

My battery is dead/displays a critical error.

Resolution: 

If your Flex BP has reached the end of its lifecycle or shows a critical error that makes it unsafe to use, please contact the Awake support team. If you are instructed that the battery is no longer safe to use and cannot be repaired, please follow these safety protocols to ensure proper disposal in an environmentally responsible manner:

1. Turn your battery OFF
2. Store the battery in an isolated location, away from flammable materials
3. Contact your nearest hazardous waste disposal facility to arrange a pickup or drop-off
4. Notify the Awake support team and provide proof of safe disposal
