If you are done for the season and want to store you gear for a longer period of time (longer than 2 months) adhere to the below listed steps to ensure that your equipment is stored correctly.
1. Clean all gear with freshwater and clear the jet system from debris. |
2. Treat the CM pins with contact spray (e.g. WD-40) and wipe off the excess. Grease the connector O-rings with O-ring grease. |
3. Connect the battery pack to the app, make sure the latest firmware update is installed. |
4. Charge the battery to 80% (4 LEDs) If your BP is above 80% charge before storage, there is no need to discharge it. Check the battery charge every 60 days and top up if necessary. |
5. Disconnect the PKL (you can leave the Flex BP on the charger if convenient) |
6. Check the battery every few weeks by simply connecting the PKL. |
7. When you notice that the charge level has dropped to three bars on the LED display, let the Flex BP charge for 15-20 minutes, or until the charge level has gone up to four bars on the LED display. |
8. Store all modules disconnected and in room temperature |
